Humanizer on the Adapt homepage
The humanizer skill (version 3.1.0) run by hand over the marketing copy on adaptleads-v2.reeveos.site/ours/: 48 blocks, about 1,300 words. Menus, sample records and the embedded app were left out. The skill is not installed, and the site has not been changed.
It changed 9 of the 48 blocks. Every fact, number and product name is the same as before.
Before and after, through our three checks
| Before | After |
|---|
| Vale errors | 0 | 0 |
| Vale warnings | 2 | 1 |
| LanguageTool findings | 3 | 2 |
| Content gate | FAIL | FAIL |
| Joining words (floor 47.3%) | 44.6% | 45.3% |
| Contractions per 100 words (floor 3.1) | 1.5 | 1.3 |
Humanizer changes how sentences are built: it removes habits. The gate measures something else, how many small joining words and contractions the copy uses against your spoken voice. Both versions fall short of it, and these nine edits barely move it.
The 9 changes
Platform
Before
Adapt Agents: Four agents that never clock off. They find, draft and follow up around the clock. You approve what goes out.
After
Adapt Agents: Four agents that never clock off. They find, draft and follow up for you, and nothing goes out until you approve it.
What it found: §2 the body repeats the title (never clock off, around the clock) · §6 verb triad
Coverage
Before
Limited companies, partnerships, sole traders and the high-street shops that never appear on a register, each with the people who run them.
After
The book covers limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, and the high-street shops that never appear on a register, each with the people who run them.
What it found: §2 a verbless list sitting under a verbless headline
Also: Not a writing fix, a claim to check: 'each with the people who run them' says every business has its people, while the numbers just below say 1.1m of 7.9m have a named director.
Accuracy
Before
Checked where it matters. Emails are checked with the mail server, websites are proved to belong to the business, and directors come straight from the official register.
After
Checked where it matters. We check emails with the mail server, prove each website belongs to the business, and take directors straight from the official register.
What it found: §11 passive voice hides who does the checking · §3 'where it matters' (two weak tells together)
Accuracy
Before
Nothing hidden. Nothing guessed. If we hold a value, you'll see it with its label. If we don't know, we say so, and we never fill a gap with a guess.
After
Everything we hold, on show. If we hold a value, you'll see it with its label. If we don't know, we say so, and we never fill a gap with a guess.
What it found: §2 a row of fragments · §1 negative listing · the title says the same thing as the body
Insights
Before
A new director, a new office, a brand-new company or the first sign of trouble. Adapt Insights matches each change to the right business, ranks the ones that matter to you and tells you why each one is worth a call.
After
Adapt Insights spots new directors, new offices, brand-new companies and the first signs of trouble, and matches each change to the right business. It ranks the ones that matter to you and tells you why each one is worth a call.
What it found: §2/§4 a verbless list as a run-up before the point · §6 verb triad
Agents
Before
Search finds the reason to get in touch. Engage writes the opener. Operator holds everything for your OK. Optimization learns from what came back. They don't stop working, and nothing goes out without you.
After
Each agent does one job and hands its work to the next, from finding a reason to get in touch to learning from the replies. Nothing goes out without your OK.
What it found: §7 four sentences with the same shape · repeats the four agent cards just below it · §2 'They don't stop working' restates the headline
MCP connector
Before
The Adapt Leads connector brings UK businesses, their directors and their insights into the AI assistants you already use. Ask in plain English and you'll get answers from the book, with their labels, instead of guesses.
After
Ask the AI assistant you already use about a UK business, in plain English. The answer comes from the book, with the directors, the insights and the label on every value, instead of a guess.
What it found: §24 the first sentence repeats the heading (Bring... into your AI tools / brings... into the AI assistants)
Open to everyone
Before
Open to everyone. Clearly labelled. Always improving.
After
Open to everyone, with the same data on every plan.
What it found: §6 forced triad · §2 a row of three fragments (the strongest tell on the page, and the 'rule in the book' style you rejected on 8 Oct)
Open to everyone
Before
Every customer works from the same book, and we don't hold any value back for a bigger plan. Every value carries its label, and the data gets better every time a source is checked.
After
A one-person firm searches the same book as a whole sales floor. Each value carries its label, and the data gets better every time a source is checked.
What it found: §7 'Every... Every...' openings, and the first sentence restated the headline
Not writing problems, but worth a look
- Coverage. Not a writing fix, a claim to check: 'each with the people who run them' says every business has its people, while the numbers just below say 1.1m of 7.9m have a named director.
- Accuracy. Not a writing fix: these say 'origins' while the point above says 'sources' for the same idea. A reader will wonder whether they differ.
- Insights. Not a writing pattern, just a slip: 'worth a congratulations' reads oddly. 'Worth a note of congratulations' would fix it.
- Agents. The agent is called Optimization, with a z, and the UK spelling rule flags it every time. Fine if it is a fixed product name; otherwise Optimisation.
